The American Red Cross relies on volunteers to help us with our mission of providing care and comfort to those in need.

Every year all across Montana, disasters randomly strike hundreds of families. Homes and possessions are lost and lives are forever changed. We can not change history, but with your help, the American Red Cross can make it a little easier for those who have suffered disasters to get from today to tomorrow.

It's not for everybody. It takes commitment and training but if you are willing to help, you can be a part of an elite team of Red Cross volunteers trained to respond when disaster strikes. No matter what your profession, experience or expertise is, you have skills the Red Cross can use to help those who have been affected by a disaster.

Whatever your background, whatever your availability, the Red Cross needs you to help those affected by disaster.

American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services has developed courses that are geared to produce confident, competent, well-trained Red Cross caseworkers - people who are thoroughly knowledgeable about the directives and procedures of American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services. These training opportunities are:

• Designed for paid and volunteer Armed Forces Emergency Services caseworkers in chapters and stations.
• Full-day courses taught by trained, experienced, Red Cross - authorized instructors.

Help in the office or at blood collection sites.
