Our Core Values

These are our non-negotiable qualities and assumptions that shape our character, influence our decisions, identify our philosophy, and describe who we are as a church.

Nurturing – We strive to develop believers into true disciples of Jesus Christ, knowing that people need patience, love, and mentoring to grow spiritually. Jude 1:20-23; 1 John 4:7; John 13:34
Openness – We are convinced that believers should relate to one another honestly and “without guile,” living authentically with one another. 1 Peter 2:1; John 1:47; 1 Peter 3:10
Relationships – We place a high priority on building relationships in our church family, working to draw close and to show concern for one another. Hebrews 13:1; Galatians 6:10; 1 Timothy 3:5; Matthew 7:24-27
Truth – We believe God’s Word is the fundamental Truth and the moral compass for our lives. We are committed to preaching and teaching the Bible as the authoritative, inspired word of GOD which is relevant today. Psalm 119:105; 2 Tim 3:15-17
Holy Spirit and Prayer – The Holy Spirit is our Guide as we seek to conduct all activities and ministries of our church through prayer. Just as a compass points north, the Holy Spirit points us to God’s Word, revealing truth and empowering us to follow. John 16:13; Luke 3:16; John 14:26; Acts 1:8
Worship - We aim to lead believers into an encounter with God through unashamed worship and the passionate pursuit of His presence. Mark 12:29-30; John 4:23-24; Psalm 16:11; Psalm 86:12
Evangelism - We seek to make salvation a normal part of our ministries by faithfully challenging everyone to accept Jesus and by striving to follow Jesus’ example of connecting with people as they are, where they are, letting our lives “preach the Gospel” to unbelievers. Mark 16:15; Luke 15; 2 Corinthians 3:2, 3
Simple Quality – We strive for quality that honors God, yet is simple enough to make the Gospel approachable for every age and social group. Ecclesiastes 9:10; Colossians 3:23
Teamwork – Our aim is to turn members into ministers who work in their spiritual gifts, building the Kingdom of GOD as a team. Ephesians 4:11-12, Romans 12:4-9
Family – We are convinced the family is the foundation of a strong society and needs encouragement and strength through Biblical values. Genesis 1:27-28
Fellowship – We strive to create an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie through small groups, working together, and fellowship meals. Acts 1:42-47
